| Dear Community Member/Business Leader: Take Back the Night (TBTN) is an annual event, featuring a rally and march against violence. The purpose of this event is to focus the attention of the community on preventing sexual and domestic violence*. Take Back the Night celebrates the strength of the survivors of such violence and provides information regarding available resources for those in need. You and/or your organization are invited to lend your support and attend the event. This year’s Take Back the Night will be held on Thursday, October 5, from 6pm to 8pm at the Performing Arts Stage behind the Bolingbrook Town Center. Our featured speaker will be Michele Weldon, author of I Closed My Eyes and instructor at Northwestern University. Following the program, a march will be held to take the message into the community. The Steering Committee is inviting you to unite with other communities in Northern Will County and take a strong stand against violence. Together we can shine our light of caring and concern on those who have only known darkness and sadness. Together we can make our communities safer and Take Back the Night.
